Terms and cancellation
Last updated 1 September 2026. These are the terms for every booking with us. Sending a booking request, paying a deposit or accepting a proposal means you are agreeing to them.
Booking and confirmation
- A booking is confirmed once we have sent written confirmation and received the deposit
- The deposit is half the booking value. The rest is due seven days before the event
- A proposal is valid for 14 days. We do not hold nannies for a date until the deposit is in
What is included
The nannies, activity kit and set up in your proposal, a lead nanny who liaises with you or your planner, a signed register for every child, and a written report if anything happens. Food, the room and parking come from you or the venue unless we have agreed otherwise.
Ratios and staffing
We staff to the ratios on our nannies and standards page and never below them. If more children turn up than were booked we may not be able to take them, or we will charge for the extra nanny. If a child has additional needs we need to know at booking so we can plan one to one care.
What we ask of you
- Tell us about allergies, medical conditions and additional needs before the day
- Pick a collection password and only share it with the people allowed to collect each child
- Give us an emergency contact who will actually answer during the event
- Make sure a parent or guardian stays at the venue, or can be reached, for the whole booking
Cancellation

Moving the date counts as cancelling and rebooking, unless we can bring the same team, in which case there is no charge. If we ever have to cancel on you, you get everything back.
Insurance and liability
We carry public liability and professional indemnity insurance. We are responsible for the children while they are signed into our register. We are not responsible once they have been signed out, for valuables brought into the activity space, or for anything that goes wrong because of information we were not given.
Photography
We do not take photos of children. If your photographer wants pictures of the activity space, please make sure the parents of any child in shot are happy with it.
Governing law
